Dear Heroic Families,
The excitement is heating up, and registration for our next Heroic Youth Hero Quest is just around the corner. We’re SO excited to see you step into your heroic potential again this year!

To make sure you’re fully prepared and ready to charge forward (because spots fill FAST—seriously, we sell out quick!), here’s your quick Hero Quest Registration Prep Checklist:

• Snap a great headshot!  Have a clear photo of your youth ready (shoulders up, no one else in the frame—JPG/PNG, under 10MB). It doesn’t need to be a professional shot—just heroic and smiling.
• Dive into the 5 Commitments & Calendar!  Read through the 5 Commitments and check the Events Calendar for all the trainings and events. Make sure you can truly commit before registering. (If this year doesn't work for your schedule, that's okay. We'd love to see you next year.)
• Youth, write your theme paper! Youth Leaders need to prepare a 1-2 page paper on this year’s powerful theme: Redemption (be ready to upload it as a PDF). Pour your thoughts into it—it’s a big part of your interview and helps us see your heart for the journey. (No “IOU” papers—get it done ahead of time!)
• Set up a personal Google account! Each Youth Leader needs their own, individual Google account (Gmail works great) to access key tools like Google Chat for House communication, the Heroic App for authentication, and other online reports/trainings. Parents can help create one if needed—it's free and quick! (Details in our FAQs page.)
• Have your funds ready!  Fees are due at registration ($185 for Youth Leaders, plus any extras for special roles later). Be prepared to pay when you hit submit—registration opens soon after our Kickoff! 
  If finances are a challenge, don’t let that stop the adventure! Scholarships are available based on need. Check out the details and apply here. (Submit your request to info@heroicyouth.org early — spots can’t be held while waiting! And receiving a scholarship doesn't automatically ensure you a spot. You'll still need to register like usual...   Seriously, if you are in need of a scholarship, now is the time to apply. Don't wait until after Kickoff.).

Parents and youth: This is your moment to prepare, pray, and get excited! Review everything together, get those ducks arrows & swords in a row, and watch for registration opening details in your inbox. 

Registration will open on Saturday, February 14th at 10am (updated 1/26/2026).
